Cannabidiol—CBD—is one of hundreds of cannabinoid compounds that has significant medical benefits, but does not make people feel “stoned” and is non Psychoactive. CBD is Hemp Extract produced from Federally Legal Industrial Hemp that contains little to no THC. THC Free CBD Isolate (99.9+% CBD)
Full Spectrum CBD Oil (~85-92% CBD +Various Minor Cannabinoids + .3% THC)
To get TECHNICAL, the CBD extraction produces a crude botanical concentrate that includes the cannabinoids and fatty acids found in hemp plants. We begin formulation of our CBD crystals with a completely safe and eco-friendly hydrocarbon extraction process, followed by winterization to remove the fats and lipids. Unwanted plant material is then removed with a rotary evaporator and heated gently to activate the CBD. Decarboxylation is the process of converting the acidic forms of phytocannabinoids (such as CBDa) to the non-acidic or “activated’ form (CBD) by using heat to gently break the bond of the acid group. We use our patented distillation, isolation, and THC removal processes to further separate the oils into these high purity CBD oils with different cannabinoid contents. Finally we use these finished oils to formulate our award winning CBD products!
We vigorously test our CBD oils and products constantly with the most reliable 3rd party independent laboratories for consistency. We are able to provide a high level of confidence that users will pass a drug test if using Chakra Xtracts products formulated exclusively with THC Free CBD Isolate and Broad Spectrum CBD Oils. If you use Full Spectrum CBD Products, you may accumulate residual amounts of THC in your system that may be detectable by traditional Drug Testing standards.
On February 7, 2014, President Obama signed the Farm Bill of 2013 into law. Section 7606 of the act, Legitimacy of Industrial Hemp Research, defines industrial hemp as distinct from marijuana and authorizes institutions of higher education or state department's of agriculture in states that have legalized hemp cultivation to regulate and conduct research and pilot programs. Our hemp is derived from federally compliant registered hemp from Colorado or Oregon and inspected by the Department of Agriculture.
The Hemp Farming Act of 2018 was a proposed law to remove hemp (defined as cannabis with less than 0.3% THC) from Schedule I controlled substances and making it an ordinary agricultural commodity. Its provisions were incorporated in the 2018 United States farm bill that became law on December 20, 2018.
